EqualLogic Announces Increased Momentum In China Market

China Provincial Gansu TV and China Provincial Guizhou TV Deploy EqualLogic PS Series Solutions to Strengthen Operations in Digital Age

Nashua, N.H.—July 28, 2006— EqualLogic®, the leading provider of complete, enterprise-class iSCSI storage area network (SAN) solutions, today announced that both China Provincial Gansu TV and China Provincial Guizhou TV have selected its award-winning PS Series solutions.  Expanding its footprint in the China Market, EqualLogic will be delivering these organizations a reliable high-performance solution that ensures their compliance with digital editing environments while simultaneously simplifying storage management and ensuring ongoing success.

EqualLogic's media and broadcasting customers are getting a high-performance SAN solution for their video editing and digital content store, enabling them to better manage their overall storage capacity and performance needs.  The PS Series also offers 24/7 backup and disaster recovery capabilities to ensure business continuity.  This capability enables them to consolidate all the video editing stations under a single SAN group rather than islands of storage which had previously been the case with traditional Fiber Channel solutions.

New China-based EqualLogic customers include:

• Guizhou TV (GZSTV):  GZSTV was founded in 1968 and currently has a staff of over 1,300 employees and nine channels which cover news, TV play, movies, sports & travel, science, education and health, Teletext and the Guizhou TV Broadcast Newspaper. GZSTV currently has 33 programs among which the Guizhou Satellite, teleplay and teletext broadcast 24 hours a day to an audience of 43 million, ranking it 9^th of the province-level TV stations.  The newly-built Guizhou TV operation has intelligent and digitized features, which will enable it to meet its development needs for the upcoming years.  GZSTV has been approved and designated as an advanced center in China due to its all-digital, all-HD, automatic broadcasting system.
• Gansu TV (GSTV): GSTV was founded in October 1970 and was the first TV station in the Gansu Province.  Relying on strong production abilities and advanced broadcasting equipment, GSTV has consistently provided its national audience with high-quality TV programs.  GSTV also plays a key role as a modernized information transmitting media in the northwest region.  At present, GSTV has three channels, the GSTV Satellite Channel, the GSTV Culture Channel and the GSTV Finance Channel. GSTV Satellite Channel broadcasts programs to the northwest, southwest, northeast, southeast and central areas and also reaches surrounding countries as well as select other Southeast Asian regions.
