EqualLogic’s PS3800XV Storage Array Takes Top Prize in Enterprise Storage Hardware Category

Nashua, NH — June 27, 2007 — EqualLogic®, a leading provider of enterprise-class iSCSI storage area network (SAN) solutions, today announced that eWEEK, a Ziff Davis Media publication and one of the industry’s leading enterprise IT magazines, has named EqualLogic’s PS3800XV as the winner in the Enterprise Storage Hardware category of eWEEK’s Seventh Annual Excellence Awards program. All of the winning products in this year’s program are detailed in the June 25 issue of eWEEK.

The eWEEK Excellence Awards program provides enterprise IT professionals with a benchmark for assessing a wide range of technology products and services. Evaluating the entries this year was a panel of experts including eWEEK Labs analysts and eWEEK Corporate Partners, providing a mix of technical and real-world analysis

With regards to EqualLogic’s winning product, the eWEEK special report on the award noted, “The PS3800XV storage array extends the PS Series family beyond EqualLogic's core SATA-based product line, combining EqualLogic's load balancing and storage virtualization with high-speed Serial Attached SCSI disk drives, that judges saw as providing high-performing storage for database and online transaction processing applications.”
