EqualLogic Launches European Operations

World's Leading iSCSI SAN Vendor Opens Offices in London and Munich to Continue Aggressive Expansion in Western Europe

London, February 27, 2006 - EqualLogic, the leading provider of complete, intelligent iSCSI storage area network (SAN) solutions, today announced expansion of its international operations with the opening of European sales offices in London and Munich. Building on a strong foundation of existing distributors, resellers and customers, EqualLogic will develop its sales operations in Europe to offer the award-winning PS Series SAN to large and mid-sized enterprises in the United Kingdom, Germany, The Netherlands and Scandinavia. According to IDC's "Worldwide Disk Storage Systems 2005-2009 Forecast and Analysis" report 1, the worldwide market for iSCSI SANs is forecasted to grow from just over $100 million in 2004 to more than $4.5 billion in 2009, representing a compound annual growth rate of 107 percent - and Europe will contribute significantly to this growth.

EqualLogic will develop further its global channel network, which currently includes 280 partners worldwide and generates more than 90 percent of the company's revenue. EqualLogic's channel infrastructure in Western Europe currently includes distributors such as GE Access Distribution, Consolidate IT and Advanced Unibyte and a growing network of VARs.

EqualLogic's European operation is led by Vice President Paul Klinkby-Silver, based in London, who will build a successful pan-European sales infrastructure for rapid growth in the region. Prior to joining EqualLogic, Klinkby-Silver was general manager for Intransa in Europe, and before that he was CEO of Avanti Europe.
