EqualLogic Wins InfoWorld’s 2008 Technology of the Year Award for "Best iSCSI SAN"

Nashua, N.H. — January 14, 2008 — EqualLogic®, Inc., the leading provider of high-performance iSCSI storage area network (SAN) solutions, was honored with IDG’s InfoWorld 2008 Technology of the Year Award for "Best iSCSI SAN.” The award recognizes the EqualLogic PS Series family of storage arrays for its performance, intuitive operation, and comprehensive enterprise feature set – as well as for providing the best storage platform for virtual infrastructures.

InfoWorld’s 2008 Technology of the Year awards differentiate 45 products across nine general categories. Selected by InfoWorld Test Center editors and reviewers, the annual awards identify the best and most innovative products on the IT landscape. Winners are drawn from all of the products tested, which is upwards of 200 products a year, with the final selections made by InfoWorld's Test Center staff. EqualLogic’s PS Series SAN is a frequent favorite of InfoWorld’s Test Center, receiving honors since the launch of its product family in 2003, when InfoWorld gave the company its first "Excellent” rating. EqualLogic also was awarded in 2005 by the InfoWorld Test Center for the highest test review rating, beating out six other vendors for its top performance and benefits to enterprise customers. EqualLogic was awarded again in 2006 with the InfoWorld Technology of the Year Award for "Best iSCSI SAN.”
