EqualLogic Launches Educational Series on Virtualization for iSCSI SANs and Server Infrastructure

More than 30 Events with Local Partners and Leading Virtualization Vendor Highlight Benefits of Combining Server Virtualization Software with EqualLogic PS Series iSCSI SANs

Nashua, N.H.— October 10, 2006—EqualLogic® today announced a series of more than 30 educational events to be held in partnership with VMware and EqualLogic’s Preferred VMware Partners that will highlight the power of deploying its PS Series iSCSI SAN in VMware Infrastructure 3 environments. The educational series follows the addition of the EqualLogic PS Series family of storage arrays to the VMware Storage / SAN Compatibility Guide for VMware ESX Server 3.

The event series, running from October 12 through November, will include more than 30 seminars in major cities across the country, two Webcasts with VMware and bi-weekly live online demonstrations of EqualLogic in a VMware environment.

On October 12, VMware and EqualLogic will host a Webcast featuring a case study of a production deployment of VMware Infrastructure 3 with EqualLogic by Pathfire, the leading supplier of digital media distribution and asset management technology and services to the television news and entertainment industries.
