EqualLogic Wins SAN Product of the Year at the Techworld Awards 2007

PS3800XV Honoured for Powerful Performance and Exceptional Functionality

LONDON, U.K. 3 July 2007 — EqualLogic®, a leading provider of enterprise-class iSCSI storage area network (SAN) solutions, has been awarded SAN Product of the Year at the Techworld Awards 2007 for the PS3800XV storage array. EqualLogic was voted winner in its category by a judging panel made up of IT industry experts and Techworld editors who evaluated the PS3800XV on the criteria of strategy, creativity, innovation and effectiveness.

The PS3800XV, launched in September 2006, was one of the first iSCSI storage arrays on the market to feature Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) disks, which deliver exceptional performance for high-intensity applications. The PS3800XV suits any business that needs an enterprise-class, low-maintenance solution to meet its storage needs.

The PS3800XV offers IT professionals comprehensive storage management tools, the majority of which are automated and require no user intervention. Features such as load-balancing, snapshots, replication, and thin provisioning are included in the list price of the array.
