Dell EqualLogic Milestones


EqualLogic launched its first product in June 2003, and since then it has gained thousands of customers, more than 500 partners, while earning prestigious technology, innovation and company awards.

Dell recognized EqualLogic’s commitment to simplifying storage and its innovative products as vehicles to help Dell simplify IT.

2008

  • Dell’s acquisition of EqualLogic is finalized, and EqualLogic becomes part of Dell (January)
  • EqualLogic PS Series (PS3800XV) wins an InfoWorld 2008 Technology of the Year Award as the "Best iSCSI SAN" (January)

2007

  • EqualLogic PS Series (PS3800XV) wins eWEEK Excellence Award for Enterprise Storage Hardware (June)
  • EqualLogic PS3800XV wins SAN Product of the Year in the Techworld Awards 2007 (June)
  • EqualLogic wins Storage Award from the UK’s Storage magazine for the second consecutive year. The PS3900XV won the “Storrie” as the Virtualization Product of the Year. (June)
  • Moves to new headquarters in Nashua, doubles facility space (May)
  • Grows to 300 employees worldwide (April)
  • Incorporates subsidiary in Japan to serve the local market (April)
  • 2000th customer deployment (January)

2006

  • The EqualLogic PS Series is named the top midrange storage array in the Storage Magazine and Diogenes Labs Quality Awards, based on #1 ratings from customers for its features, quality, reliability and technical support.
  • VMware adds EqualLogic PS Series and PS3000 Series to its SAN / storage hardware compatibility list for VMware Infrastructure 3, including ESX server (October)
  • EqualLogic launches new high-performance product line, the PS3000 Series, with Serial-Attached-SCSI (SAS) disk drives (September)
  • 1,500th customer deployment (September)
  • EqualLogic wins title of Fastest Growing Private Company in New Hampshire in 2005 from Business NH Magazine (September)
  • Worldwide channel partner network grows to more than 400 (September)
